Sharing house with eternal bonded one

My wife has the gil to buy another plot but she will not buy it because we really want to share the same house and live together.
However, I am not sure whether this will free up some plots. To really free up some space, SE probably needs to re-think about removing some of the houses owned by unsubscribed players for over a certain period (many people think 90 days are reasonable in other threads). I too think that if people unsubcribed for over 90 days, they shouldn't really compliant even if they lose their house. It just needed to be announced and make it a rule for housing.

I just wanted to point out the main reason SE is avoiding this. This has to do with the amount of in game divorce problems they want to avoid. Say you and you're partner work together to collect gil to buy a house. you finally get one. You're both happy. But then conflict arises. Who gets the house? the drama, the hate, the mail spams SE would get from this is hard to deal with. They are avoiding it because of the conflicts and drama it brings.

Y not just add the option like "open for public" (dunno how called dont have a room/house) called "open for EB partner"? So it simply is an option for one side I dont call for being able to use the items like chest/bell in room/house... not yet ^-^

I would say one is access which is guest access/eb mate access. But at the same time I would like my EB mate to be able to use any activatable furnishings in my place as well.

I guess:
access: private/public/EB mate only
use: private/EB mate only

At the momnte the rather large dialog is a simple checkbox of [ ] allow guest access.

if this is true, wouldn't this be much more rampant with FC Housing?

If they do it, it will be after 2.51. The housing team is busy with the Gold Saucer. I wouldn't expect this until 2.5 part 2 or 3.0. I do agree though, this needs to happen sooner rather than later.

At a bare minimum, they need to allow for permissions set by the owner. Right now, all we have is "open to all" and "open to none but me." They've spent all this time on awesome looking furniture and doodads to put in the houses, but next to none on management.

Let us assign other people who can decorate (placement of items, adding new items, etc).

Let us assign access rights to people on our friends list, etc.

Hello, we just got an answer from a community manager in my language forum : he says that they are thinking about this with high priority but for the moment everyone is working on Heavensward so they are not able to give any date for this.

I think they'll just give your marriage partner the option to enter the house, even if noone else can
