SE should just make it that you can't get into X dungeon without first unlocking the job for it.
Job classes are unlocked around Haukke Manor level right? So just lock every dungeon after that to job based classes.

Just for fun i think everyone should go read all the OPs other posts! They make good reading!

Jobs are level 30, so it would be for Brayflox (minimum level 32), not Haukke (28) if a lock like that were to be implemented.
That said, the enmity boost abilities aren't really needed until Stone Vigil (41). Paladin only gets Sword Oath at level 30, all it does is add a bit more damage per auto attack. Shield Oath is level 40, which gives the enmity boost like Warrior's Defiance (which they get at level 30).

edit:
Imo if it's such a problem for people that they aren't a PLD yet they (SE) may as well put the implication in.

So provok gives you the highest team members hate and then +1 on a target. If you start a fight with it your only generating that +1 enmity before you do anything. If you wait till a dps takes the mob off you, then you provoke. Classes offer versatility at +50 play for essentially only war/mrd. You need to unlock the job PLD, that's how the game is designed. It would be impossible for you to hold hate off someone like me in a low lvl dungeon without it. It also takes a very well geared and smart tank to tank without using a stance. PLD actually gets 2 stances, 1 at lvl 30 that gives yup double auto attack and increased hate generation, and one at 40 or 45 that gives you -20% damage taken and increased hate generation. Without shield and sword oath it would be much easier for a healer to keep a lvl synced dps alive then it would be to keep a GLA alive.
guys this happened and we let it happen.

I see the OP has paid attention to the gear, and perhaps don't think it is necessary to unlock the PLD, or maybe think it is a play style.
The truth is that the PLD is much more powerful than the GLD and at level 50 most things are balanced around the capabilities of the PLD. Having the PLD capabilities (which include more health, strength, stronger enmity generation, stronger damage mitigation) is of the same importance as having the proper gear to which you have paid so much attention.
Becoming a PLD is part of the process of growing your GLD character. It is the successor of the GLD. While the game at first was supposed to make the GLD perfectly fine for all light-party content, in the end it is simply overshadowed by the PLD and there's absolutely no rational reason to use the GLD from level 30 onwards.

I dont understand why others people choice is even a problem ? if you dont agree just leave, simple as that....and yes take your responsabilities and penalties...pretty simple concept no?...ahhhhh wait, you have the right to play the way you want BUT not the others...sure....
This game is inhabited by lots of immature people unfortunately...

Al lvl 48 gld without pld unlocked finds it usefull to use "provoke" as a pull skill. obvious troll is obvious. You can close the Thread now
jsut a question, one of your VERY GOOD friends doing the same, would you call him troll ? just out curiosity.....you know....I am sure you would tell him to not do so but if he wants to continue ..what would you do ? or you would find him all excuses...even though he keeps doing it after you have told him not to ? you would drop the friendship?
Dont tell me you base friendship on how they play the game and dont tell me you would not have such a friend.....I know better then getting those answers.
