    Quick pull is very annoying and i really don't like it but i get it why people do it, even with full grp if lots of players are on the hunt you won't get full seals and thats why people pull fast. This is something devs should change quickly.

    Yeah, i tend to not complain about it anymore, and just dont even bother with hunts right now, but when you are IN the zone that the Mark has spawned in, and are not that far away, but it is dead by the time you arrive, then yeah, there is an issue. Hell, i was the one that spotted Girtab the other day, got a group, but I didnt even get full rewards for the kill.

    Part of the problem is the hunts don't scale to how many people are around it like fates (well fates most the time). Without making them actual fates though i cant see how they could calculate that.

    I like that there is an easy way to get stuff but sometimes i think they should just add a way to spawn your own like maps. So if your having a bad day you have a chance to spawn lil versions for the same seals.

    Secretly i think adding the carbon twine to the list of items you can get was a wee hasty. Id of rather seen it be a quest like the Carbon Coat.

    Typical forum posts. Instead of finding ways to solve your problems, you'd rather blame it on the system.

    Stop trying to control things that aren't within your control, and work on what you can control.

    Can you stop people from pulling early? No.

    Since you know that your computer suck balls at loading, get to the zone earlier.
    1) Use a hunt website to find out which zone has the highest probability of a hunt mob spawning.
    2) Camp that zone.
    3) When there are shouts, get into a party and follow the zerg.

    Alternatively, you can always try hunting during non-peak hours.

    FYI, I have a crappy computer too, but I've managed to farm 6 carbontwines on a populated server.

    Except this leads to idiotic behavior. The mobs get killed so fast that if you are in a hunt party and just looking on the other side of the area from where it is spotted, you are going to miss out on the kill regardless of loading speed or anything else. That means the only rational thing to do if you truly want to get credit for the kill is to NOT hunt for it but stay with the zerg in the center of the area. But if everyone did this the mark would never be found...not to mention this encourages us to do absolutely nothing in the game. Therefore this is a fundamentally flawed system right now.

    I call BS. To everyone complaining, you're not doing it right. I spent 4+ hours hunting last night. Party spread out, may or may not have been the ones to find it but when it was called (even in a different zone) we always made it. Probably 200+ hunting last night. Plain & simple, if you aren't actively hunting then you have no grounds to complain. If you are and only get 20 allied seals you need to change your party makeup and if you aren't making it to the hunts then too bad. With an avg of 100+ ppl hunting (due to in game needs) A ranks are going to die very fast, S ranks even faster (some only hunt S ranks). You aren't going to get every single one like in the past when only 40-50 ppl showed up. Can SE make some changes, sure, but it's not necessary at this point. I would like to see SE provide alternative means, besides PVP to obtain Allied seals though.

    I would like to give a big shout out to the Brynhildr server for the way we've handled hunts. On several occasions, there have been 3-4 "simultaneous" spawns and it has been perfectly coordinated to train from one to the other with everyone getting credit for each one. LS's are active, EP's are down and communication/courtesy has been thru the roof... especially in the last week or so.

    I know this hasn't been the general experience game-wide, but I would still like to point out that it is possible.

    Balmung is relatively organized as well, with a handful of notorious early pullers. I can honestly say that I don't mind them, though, since they have everyone on their toes. People that are actually hunting (in the zone when window are known to be coming up), and not at their FC house crafting, still make it. I've missed a few here and there, but its nothing worth getting worked up over, there will be other hunts. A ranks melt because there's 200+ people hunting at once at peak time (you can't see them, but you know they're there when the hunt disappears on screen), and all the DPS are going balls-out popping cooldowns (ever seen 5 limit breaks on an S rank simultaneously!?). Best thing to do is get familiar with the maps, have the X/Y coordinates on muscle memory to know the closest spot to zone into, and camp in the hard to get to areas from an aetheryte (West Thanalan > Castrum, East Shroud > Sylphlands, Coerthas > Whitebrim, etc).
