Or they could make some arm guard glamors. And while they are at it make some book shields.

If they're planning to have an invisible off-hand, then I think they should also consider an invisible main-hand
I'm for this as long as all main and offhand items can be made invisible. All the other slots have one for it, might as well just do all slots.
I'd love to see WHM's casting stuff with their hand motions![]()
Rather not.. but maybe they can make the arm guards suggested here or an emperor like shield that becomes visible on blocks and shield bashes (imagining something similar to scifi spaceship shields and mage shields like Skyrim or Dark Souls Dark Hand).
But I'd rather not see a completely and always invisible shield. Just my personal preference.
Seems derpy. They give us an inch with these Emperor's new items and now everyone wants one for everything they can think of. I'm siding with no... Theres a point where requesting invisible things becomes stupid. I recall a request for invisible weapons at one point... just silly. (Minus MNK, which would actually make some sense at least...) It would also be weird problem Shield Bashing or Shield Tossing with no shield... Just backhanding and throwing air? As funny as a Backhand+Stun would be with an invisible shield.
I'm not often against things in the name of fun, but there does need to be a line.
Would atleast like an armguard, like Lightning's SOLDIER gauntlet in Lightning Returns: FFXIII. That would be nice. Only thing that wouldn't make sense would be shield lob, but...
Shield Lob already doesn't make sense. Shields aren't boomerangs! Stop throwing your shield! Why is this rematerializing?!
