thats the issues ive run into on KB as well, me as a Tank always for faster Ques, get yelled at and called dumb for pushing towers... Why should the healers be put under more stress for literally, no reason? I just dont get it.
6. Everyone dies. :3The only change to him (I call him Phlegmatron) is that it seems quite a few patches ago his Ancient Flare cast speed seems to be faster. Same mechanics otherwise.
But, despite the MANY queues to get back to pads, people still don't. Order of events:
1. The outer lava covering the pads will vanish.
2. 1 claw on each pad will spawn. After a short pause it will go grab the nearest person at the time that it spawned. If it is hit then it immediately grabs that person.
3. Phlegmatron's sword will change and turn red.
4. Phlegmatron will do 2 special attacks / AOEs.
5. Ancient Flare will start to cast.

Is there any funnier site in this game than watching someone try to run back to the pad during Ancient Flare and not make it in time? Slumping over either in death or disgrace... It gets me every time.
Oh yeah. I don't remember what the AOE graphics looked like on him previously. I DO know there was that one patch that updated beam attacks (Last boss in Qarn) and updated chain/link graphics (like the Vassago links to the middle bomb). So there could very well have been other AOE graphics updates, but dang if I can remember what they originally looked like.
Even after pre-fight reminders, and reminders during, sadly, yes.
I LOVE that. Especially when they ragdoll collapse to the ground inside the shield. Little too late on crossing that finish line there buddy.
I used to love it when the claws were always ignored. So many tanks, healers or whoever caught in the back and eaten. I used to love it on my WAR, get stuck in a claw, not everyone gets back to pads, and Flare goes off about 20 times as I slowly die from the huge health pool.
