Like I said in a similar thread, I always roll female characters. They are far nicer to look at and I get to dress them up and what-not. It's fun. Call me a pervert, I really don't care.

I'm glad I received such a reaction. It's interesting to see how many people think it's about "sex", flirting, etc. It definitely sparked some anger, which I don't understand. People need to stop associating a virtual character's gender with a person's sexuality, it's starting to really piss me off as someone who doesn't care about all that. I've never ever once tried to identify with a character physically. Most of the video games I've played in my life had male main characters, playing as a female when I have the choice feels just too weird.

No one is offended. I don't think anyone understands your logic. There is no valid reason to play the same sex character as your body in real life. As one person already said, the only logical reason here would be so someone knows they're flirting with an actual chick.
