me and my bard partner already got it. and now our scholar (alts bard).

this week we got the choker from t11 and the hat from t12. again we both already have the hat and passed the choker because... its bad... lol. greedy lalafel scholar got the hat. haha

Just coming in to chime that FCOB has been the worst progression for my Bard out of all the coils . Maybe I used up my karma in second coil when I got 4 BiS in one night... Now I'm lucky to even have the earrings n.n.

Got bracelet this week, also kirimu hat. Feels good to have 600 crit w/o food. This also decreased my gcd to 2.5 sec since +0 sksp.

ODD place to post this I know but, the bluefire in T12.....I take the bluefire, intercept the tether, and then eat the ball. Is this correct? Do I have to take the tether to eat the ball? Or can I go directly for the ball? My static does 2-4 hrs a week so didn't wanna risk finding out in practice.

Lastly, what is recommended hp for t13 for bard? I have belt and gloves left to augment, and I suppose the final relic upgrade if we don't clear t12 b4 then. I have 5787 hp w/o party or food. Hope it will be ok ><

For t12 redfire will spawn in a random spot and tether to a random person, you cant control who it tethers to or take the tether off them. You wait till it casts then you pick up bluefire, figure out where the redfire is and who its tethered to, then run to intercept, telling any of your party members who need to move to move incase they dont realize it already. Big culprits of this in my experience are healers, sometimes redfire comes out during a time of intense healing and the healers wont be looking and if it spawns right on top of them theres nothing you can do to prevent it from exploding on the raid.

Things to note, bluefire reduces damage delt by like 90% so dont put up any dots while bluefire is on you, this also makes bluefire a really good time to put up paeon, just remember to keep using bloodletter because its still free damage. Generally try to put up dots right before bluefire etc.

Also if you can try to convince your static to do scholar on bluefire duty and bard on brand swapping duty. Thats how my static does it and it lets you push a lot faster, we skip the second blackfire and have a shit ton of time before 5th bennu so we dont even think about LBing anymore. Scholar healing is affected as well but their dots that are already on the boss wont be affected, nor will their pet be, or lustrate, so they're capable of contributing the most while under the bluefire debuff. If you're doing brand you're either gonna swap to caster or the whitemage, we do it to caster, who you guys do it with is up to you.

Safest, with the most DPS output will be SCH on Blue-Redfire duty, and Caster-WHM on band duty due to higher magic defense.

Sessurea: I dont know what is the aim of your group at the moment. But if the aim is only to go p3 with 4 bennus without more optimization, just do the bluefire "free for all": the guy linked takes the blue. Your melees gonna lose dps, but its now really easy to reach 4 bennus because of increase average ilvl.
