Glamour Restrictions i55 DoH

Yoshi P!.... we now have an Artisan gear set but you have completely forsaken the amazing i55 DoH gear! I loved my Weaver Swallow Tail and want to glamour it to ALL of my crafters (over the Artisan gear).

What's the likely hood of removing this glamour restriction? It will let me glamour but GSM or any other class won't actually show the glamour due to this restriction.

I wish they would there is not much crafting gear out there that you can use on all jobs.. I want to use alchemist gear for mine. The i55 DoH gear is amazing.. It looks like they spent allot of time coming up with it..

The artisan apron is so ugly it is not funny. It looks like something a toddler would wear.. Even my girlfriend doesn't think it is cute...

I can't agree more with this thread... This apron was not new, looks like it was defecated on, and is not something I would expect an "Artisan" to wear. Lest I forget, the shoes, gloves, and shorts are all hideous as well. I use to have 8 unique looking jobs, that I spent a lot of time on glamoring, but now have 8 jobs that all look the same and it is disenchanting to say the least. I will freely admit I enjoy the inventory space but not like this. Can you imagine if they only released one set of Poetics gear for DPS/Mage jobs? People would be in an uproar.

Why, there's a simple solution, of course! Just buy and fully meld eight aprons, and then glamour to taste! What could be easier???

Could I do this I would glamor best man's slacks and shoes, and Patrician's gloves to go with.

Well... I did kinda sacrifice em all and convert them into bunch of crafting materias. lol

But... I did pick my blacksmith body as glamour before converting it since I like it best from all DoH clothes. XD

I did play around with this a bit and will post a pic when I'm home. I dyed mine the bright green dye from Mog Station and adjusted a few glamours. Look ok. But still I have to agree with Laurell that I had 8 UNIQUE jobs and now I can't tell if I'm a GSM or an ALC.

Also, the i55 gear is becoming irrelevant. Not even new crafters want it as it's a materia sink hole that you'll push past rather quickly. Plus, for those that don't have help, who the hell wants to buy 8 different sets of gear when you can get one set with better stats for less money?!?! Come on Yoshi, don't let your talented artists at SE watch their awesome clothing designs go to waste!

Right now, glamour is bound to the item. They should change the glamour to be bound to the SLOT based on your current class.

You'd do cast glamour on your body slot while on WVR, and you'd glamour the WVR body. Then you'd switch to GSM, glamour that body slot to GSM body (if you please), etc. You'd still have the artisan's apron equipped on all those jobs, but the glamour would be based on the slot and job combo.
