I main white mage and my husband mains warrior... I regen and medica II each pull cuz the regens add up to create enough heal over time for me to do holy spamming safely without needing to babysit him with cure 2s. He's never once had an issue keeping the hate from the next set of mobs even if he still has a trickle of a regen left on him.

Just another case where someone who sucks at his job places blame on someone else.

HOWEVER, that does not excuse doing things like casting a Medica II while the tank is literally in the process of rounding up the AoE mobs that's just dumb. A trickle of regen leftover can be dealt with by a good tank but you shouldn't be casting Medica II at the start of a fight until the tank has the stuff gathered and does some enmity moves.
