I never will because that's ignorant to say and you certainly haven't seen me say it in this thread. Of course a decent pc, even a low end one, will be pricier than a console. Things get muddled a little when you consider monthly subs for online access and extra controllers and whatnot but PCs get just as crazy. A lot of people are definitely confused about the cost of a decent pc. One comparable to a ps4 in price wouldn't even be worth building imo. I'd rather save twice the money and double down to do it right instead of scraping by with the reqs for 1 game.

It moves to my desk sometimes when I want to play a more modern KB+mouse oriented game. It's a gray zone between the two because of the flexibility. If anything my post specifically shows that gray zones do exist outside of those two archetypes and therefore does not prove your point as you seem to think it does. PCs can fit multiple form factors and uses and are quite flexible. Also, I didn't "tinker" with it. Right out of the box windows, with an xbox 360 controller, and an HDMI out to my TV worked automatically. That's how it's designed to function.
