This game favors DPS. Its called slaughter. And its not a big deal and its not game breaking....not even close.

The entire game revolves around killing stuff, what about it? How are you going to say that its no big deal when two out of three archetypes do not benefit from the system? 40% extra damage is no big deal? Really?
40% damage on a PLD would actually be super scary.
ANYWAYS, on topic: I do agree that Tanks/Healers need something to benefit them in this mode.
I kid you not, I saw a guy in Slaughter who only did 1,300 damage. HE HAD SIX KILLS.
ONLY 1,300 DAMAGE. TOTAL. FOR THE WHOLE RUN.
And then there are people who have 100,000 or more damage and 0 kills. Who do you think contributed more? The person doing over 100k damage? Or the person who jumped in at the last second to get the kill instead of them?
Certainly that guy isn't putting his Battle High to any particular good use.
It was probably a healer... and their kills were probably from knock offs... so the person with the kills contributed WAY more sinc ethe person with 100K would have never survived without the healer that was healing and got 4 knock-off kills.I kid you not, I saw a guy in Slaughter who only did 1,300 damage. Killing is what gets you points, so if the player stole kills from the other team, for example, he was VERY useful. There are also some dps that are VERY ineffective. If you don't kill the target, damage is useless.I kid you not, I saw a guy in Slaughter who only did 1,300 damage. HE HAD SIX KILLS.

I'm all in for assists, but that doesn't mean a "sniper" can't be very useful.
