I wanna see the concept design for the new Eorzea!

I'm expecting a bit of a reshuffling and having the zones we have shrink quite a bit. There's actually a lot of areas in each zone that are really cool, but there's a couple of problems with them. First, these areas are populated by level 60+ mobs, meaning they're effectively useless to current players. Second, it's mostly just terrain - there's no structures or anything like that (with a few exceptions). The area near Falcon's Nest is pretty cool but completely useless. There's a big stone ruin at the northernmost point in Black Shroud but it's useless too.

Basically I'm expecting them to cut a lot of the filler area (since it's mostly worthless as well and just populated by huge waves of level 10 gnats or whatever) and just be left with meaningful and unique areas.

I hope they do this.

There's a lot of "fat" that could certainly be trimmed without the areas losing anything meaningful in the process.
