    I believe it was less to do with loopholes and more to do with the data that is kept when you D/C and the kind of state actively crafting is. So to do this, it would require some amount more data saved every time you log off, or D/C or something like that. I would like to see it happen too, but if this is their issue, they may feel like they have to have a server upgrade before doing so.

    I honestly can't see any loop holes or abuse of the function to save your progress in a craft when you disconnect. If you're doing badly, you don't get a do over, nor your items back. If you start a synth only to decide a minute later that you shouldn't have done that, you can't just momentarily force DC and restart it at a later date while going and running a dungeon in the meantime. When you reconnect, you're right where you left off.

    Regarding the data possibly becoming excessive, they could implement a time limit on it I suppose. I think most accidental DC's or server drop outs are momentary so 5 or 10 minutes would be enough for someone to return and continue. Maybe half an hour or even an hour to be on the safe side? If they go over time offline, the mats+progress are lost just as they are now. That seems like it'd deal with forgotten sessions and whatnots, protecting the servers from excessive inactive use.

    This is something I've been begging and praying for for aaages and I really don't see anything against it that couldn't be worked out to everyone's benefit or that isn't already a problem with the current systems.

    While we're at it can we get rid of the obnoxious thing where if a key pops you can't sell or move items in your retainer or assign ventures? A simple x at the top to close all retainer windows would be nice as well.

    Most of your rant I agreed with but this one... wha? The most complicated node in the game STILL only has six swings to it - seven if you use the add-a-swing ability. It's hard to conceive of a situation where this is going to take longer than twelve seconds or so, even if your confirmation window pops just as you touch the node. That leaves ample time to finish up, change jobs, and accept.

    No, the only way you're going to have trouble finishing a node is if you consciously chose to begin that node after thirty seconds or so have already passed on the confirmation window. If you've done that, you have no one to blame but yourself!

    Having the window up doesn't prevent you from mining/harvesting. Even before the "Wait" option was added, you could just focus off of the confirmation window in order to continue.

    I came in here thinking you were just complaining and found a solution to the problem instead, kudos. I agree 100% that crafting state should be saved and you should be able to resume from where you left off when you get disconnected. I imagine that might be a little difficult for the devs to put into place but it's a great idea and I think they should strongly consider putting the effort in.

    Guess the issue is more like "Cannot execute action while Duty Finder ... (forgot text XD)" like you cannot send retainers out sell stuff or something alike once the DF finally poped.

    It does. That's why I brought it up . Try it for yourself, you aren't able to begin or complete a node once the window pops.

    Lol this happened to me once, low level roulette as a dps, Tp to mor dhona to check price on gear, dungeon pops during loading screen. Withdraws, still loading screen.

    Maybe someone who's reading this could help me out.

    The game was so fast for me until they added the patch with hunts (2.3?) and since then I have 1-2 min loading screen wherever I go.
    Anyone know what the problem is?
