There are few things more annoying than that feeling you get when you cant swap jobs due to inventory space. I really hope they add more space.

Exactly, especially with how the game is built around leveling multiple classes on the same character. It's really underwhelming... And while they may make gear that is shared among classes, they obviously can't do the same for weapons and tools, since those affect the class change system. They MUST do something about this...
Well the easiest solution would simply be to add another 5 slots to the armoury chest.
They did say that they will be dropping PS3 support by the expansion, so there shouldnt be any more "PS3 Limitations" issues about adding 10-20% more inventory space.
NIN doesn't share gear with MNK.. Not sure what planet you guys are on.
Unless you are talking about pre-2.4 gear (such as Soldiery gear), which was only done so that they didn't need to release a whole chain of NIN gear for those tiers.
i110 Crafted, Poetics, and Dreadwyrm are all unique left sides (xxx of Scouting).. Their only shared slots are right side (with BRD) for aiming Jewellry.
As far as crafters go - you now only need 2 sets (one for DoH & DoL) due to the Artisan left sides - which is a huge increase in Armory Chest space...
Weapons however are a major issue, along with PvP sets (no Acc) if you go that route, on top of that - some people have multiple sets (or at least pieces) depending on Acc cap for certain fights. I for one have a lower acc set for my main, as well as one with T13 acc.
It is definitely a worry when you throw another 3 battle classes on top of all of this.
They didn't, what they actually said was that the ps3 version would be supported at least through the expansion(meaning at least up to the end of heavensward), and that they would only drop support for it afterwards if they decided to try to add something that the ps3 wouldn't be capable of doing.
To be fair, the posts about MNK/NIN sharing gear were from October.
