I actually was more looking at the BLM part, and was in kind of disbelief that even you really believed that part to be true. Even in Secure, BLMs were fantastic to have around, especially if they had the cover of sufficient healers and maybe a SMN partner. You're right, stacking them was pointless if that's what you meant, but stacking melee sucked too. They're SMN fodder the way they swarm targets.
Secure gave reasons to bring a varied party, including the limit break. Slaughter promotes stacking. Adrenaline is fun, but total garbage.
EDIT: FURTHERMORE... SquareEnix shat on BLM's Swiftcast Flare to discourage BLM stacking, yet here this mechanic is.

Aye having a raid like party setup was pretty damn good for secure, atleast 1 tank for VIT bonus 2 healers and 5 dps. I still think this setup has its place in slaughter but it would kinda require pre-made party to work properly, tanks should be the ones that overextends to make room for melees while range and healers support them. Sometimes this works with randoms but its rare.I actually was more looking at the BLM part, and was in kind of disbelief that even you really believed that part to be true. melee LB should get more dmg tried to lose my LB for 90% hp dmg .. after i use my LB i get 31565 sleep 4452 blind and 3562 stun so IM DEAD to see Enemy run with 10%hp .. or they should let me move after LB i dont know why i cant leave my place for 2-3sec after LB
LB does a lot already, if not too much. I think the caster one should do maybe 30% dmg, and the meele one 70%. Currently without a specific build it is a 1 shot. There is very little the opponent can do to react fast enough to stop it, especially if you stun first. They both need to be slower too, so that the opponent can dodge it or CC.
I'm not saying the mage LB isn't OP already, but the melee one is too. A LB shouldn't mean free kills on any job. There has to be a setup beforehand, and there has to be a counter. Otherwise good players can't show any skilled play, and doing frontlines is just a roll of the dice if you die or not. Slower LBs with less damage, or removing LBs entirely would raise the skill bar, both on the attacking and defending side.
