The belt is the only piece that will be BiS. But even then, I'm not sure how much better it is than the non crafted BiS belt is.Are you going for crafted or non-crafted BiS?
I'm poor, so I don't have any crafted BiS, and managed to down t10 first week with only a coulpe SCoB pieces (including Weapon) and Soldiery.
If you concern only about your dps and survability, the Ironworks+SCob+WoD+Soldiery gear are just fine.
The belt alone provides an overall +3 STR weighting by. Crafted Belts are always BiS and also, it's the cheapest item to purchase and meld.

I wish I was rich like you guys. My bag float arround 1~1.5kk and I have no clue how to make money :P
It's true that the coil was taking all my time online and since we managed to clear it in one night yesterday, I guess now I'll have the time to look for some money.
Thank you for the reply. I just need to meld the last Quickarm IV and Heavens Eye III in order to finish my belt. I've sorted out my gear now, from the post before. So thank you all for the help.
Quick edit: I'm going ot be a pain, but I've still not gotten the hang of stat weights.
This is my current set up: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/PEU6
Now, next week, I have a choice of two things. Go for the IWS chest piece and get Demon boots.
Or
Get IWS Boots and stick with my chest.
With IWS Chest/Demon boots, I lose 44 Crit, gain accuracy and gain around 27 Det.
With IWS boots, I gain +27 Crit, +1 Det and lose -25 Acc (Which will put me at 539 Acc, I'm currently on T10, so it should be fine for that)
What gives me a bigger gain?

I just find myself saving millions pre patch. Then also doing some SB on non raid days, to accumulate the required materias.
You can never have too many IVs.
My static is still training on T13 so spending money on Caviars would be a bit too much for that fight. I can afford it for other turns.
Because, from a single slot perspective, full det and crit Longinus is better than Augmented Ironworks Spear according to stat weights: 597,406 vs 595,068. Consider that I didn't see drop any "Slaying" accessories until last two weeks, so being forced to use Poetics for a while I didn't have too many options and accuracy has never been an issue. Now with Wyrm accessories and the new way to obtain Carbontwine things are different.
But you can still afford Apkallu's can't you?. They're no more than 8k each
Yes, easily, no problem with those. Anyway putting aside the Ironworks weapon at the moment, I still need to decide which Ironwork armor piece upgrade next with Carbontwine, since I have feet and legs already. Probably is going to be the body, even if I get the Wyrm one, I'll still need the accuracy on it because of det+crit Longinus.

Thanks for all the great info.I noticed on your link that you list the World of Darkness Gloves. For Non-Crafted BiS, is that the best to use? Or is it just a temporary measure until you get what you need?
Also, can you relink your Non-Crafted BiS recommendation again? thanks.
A single slot perspective is nearsighted in situations where accuracy matters. Yeah it's about -1 DPS in one slot, but the massive accuracy on top of that means that you can put an equivalent amount of actual damage stats in other slots. With some classes' gear choices that might be an unrealizable potential, but for DRGs in it's hard to come up with a gearset (or any plausible BiS with an accuracy cap) where Longinus is better. Unless you're already in the last phase of T13 and not running anywhere near enrage issues, I think you'll most likely find that a carbontwine used on the spear is still a significant (if not mindblowing) upgrade once you see where accuracy can be dropped.
As for the chest... it's practically a given you'll want that upgraded. So good, and you don't really have any choice about that until you have the chest drop anyway.
Source: I've always run my gear through a solver and made sure I was maximizing DPS gain per tome / upgrade item because I was getting owned on drops week after week.
