    I've built this exact thing. I have an attack xbar and a healing one. I built a macro that turned cleric stance on and off and swapped to the appropriate xbar. When it worked, it was AWESOME. Loved it. Problem is that ANY lag/latency will fuck it up. >< So I had to deactivate them. I may try again sometime and build in a better /wait time in order to get around this problem.

    Yep, that's why I can't bring myself to use it. I also wish there's a conditional based on class. Something like... If i'm on tank, use marking commands, else if i'm on dps, scream for tp in the party chat, else if i'm on healer, scream for mp in the party chat. Just an example off my head.

    Well, you could put these macros on xbar 4 if you left it as shared amongst classes. If the crossbar set macro would slurp macros from the menu, you could do this exact thing. I tried to set this up for my SCH to change xbar 2 depending on fairy summoned. :/ Dunno why SE won't let us do that. ; ;

    Well it's mostly for the macro slot saving. With my example, that's 3 party communication macros that can be merged into 1. I've seen people here dismiss someone asking for more macro slots. Sure, the guy asking looked like he was using macros the wrong way but I do wish there's more macro slots, especially with more classes coming and more abilities getting added with expansion.

    Ah, the 99 limit sucks. That is true. I keep having to go through and weed out ones I ended up not using as much. :/ If I understand correctly, if/then macros aren't allowed (like 'if healer, then use this part of the macro', for example) due to it being too close to botting. My FC mates request stuff like this all the time when learning how to use macros.

    I do that too. In fact, after I posted my macro window pic, I rooted out a bunch and moved up the sch/smn up a row after merging blm and whm into one row. Of course, that completely destroyed my sch and smn's crossbar setups. Which makes me wish there's an option to move a macro while keeping its id/slot instead of cutting and pasting.

    Hm, never occurred to me to move the macro in the menu. Good to know that moving them will mess up the xbars. ; ;

    I have fairy summon macros that change which embrace is set to a xbar - you can place skills with macros.. or maybe I misunderstood? I have a CS/xbar swap macro that I love using.. I've just had to learn to pay attention to make sure it went through correctly. Often times, my problem is I panic when I'm in CS and someone's hp drops too fast, then I hit a heal - the xbar swaps first, and if you use a skill too soon, it kills the macro and CS isn't used. I've built muscle memory to manually swap hotbars when this happens (so I did one heal in CS, I'll use the macro again to kill CS and swap the hotbar back where I want it. keeps it to one CS per bar)

    I personally love how healing is.. on another MMO, I did kb/mouse, then swapped to a controller using a third party program to map the keys (as the game was not designed for controller use). Soft targetting is awesome.

    You know, have you tried /macrolock? I haven't gotten around to using this. Apparently it prevent other macros from cancelling currently running macros until it finishes. I've seen switched back to non /chotbar change for stance dancing but I imagine this could possibly prevent CS not deactivating..

    As for crossbar sets changing depending on pets summoned, I use /chotbar copy. For example, if I use hotbar1 for main spells, h2 for pet spells, I would have my eos spells on h3, selene on h4 (shared ticked off). The on my eos summon macro I would put (/ac summon; /chotbar copy sch 3 sch 2) and for selene summon it would be (/ac "summon II"; /chotbar copy sch 4 sch 2) and then for the final touch I would set the set selection option to enable chotbar 1 and 2 only so that when I tap the set select trigger (R1) it would only rotate between hotbar 1 and 2 (3 and 4 would be the hidden template that's never messed with during battle).

    Yeah, I tried using this once.. it actually made things worse. It prevents the casting of any skill while the macro is going and still can get the bars swapped around wrong. Without it, messing up the swap can result in heals under CS.. with it, heals won't go through and you can't instantly swap again (if you hit it by accident/want to swap back for whatever reason).
