Yep, can confirm this. As WHM i always looking for ppl who are near the abyss to kick them off. But in 1 out of 3 kicks it doesnt count for me as a kill.12. Death by falls
Once as WHM I tryied to lure people near the cliff, sleep and fluid aura them.
It work, there is always someone that can't resist to a little poor WHM alone, but I noticed that even if I killed 3 players in this way I didn't get any kill, I tried with Garuda shockwave too, and only one time I get a kill, but to be honest I can surely say if it registered the death by fall or someone dead by DoTs, can someone confirm?

i think the slaughter is not bad, but it's realy a other game than the secure.
i realy think the same as atreus, but i also think a lot of people will maybe love this more than the secure one, it's so nervous and just meaningless XD, and other would like to stay to the secure one.
But what i fear and it's almost the case, the pvp comunity is too small and wolfden/secure frontline/slaughter frontline can't realy work together.
everyone will switch to new pvp instance, i already see some wolfden lover complaining about that. And it will certainly happen with the secure
When it comes to Slaughter, the only thing they really messed up on is making melee a detriment to the party (exception being that it being only 1... maybe 2 PLD). It hurts healers MP (melee tend to just run into the fight and die quickly), hurts the teams score count, and generally kills team morale to see so many group members die. This "one thing" is actually a two-fer, as this results because of how OP casters are. Slaughter is nothing but a measure of who has the most BLM (and to a far lesser extent SMN) and heals. Sleep spam and individual caster LB spam. The LB btw is unavoidable from what I've seen, regardless of the area marker still being visible while you get out (MAYBE avoidable if you were on the very tip of it when cast and moved immediately).
this is also because melee that tend to go on fight and die quickly^^.
it's not how i play, with my drg once i get hit i get back to the group, i hope someone follow me think i am a easy kill, i also try to focus what others focus, i get some slaugther in dragoon with zero dead, but i lack in damage i perfom 100K, more helping to get adds, trying to bait, helping on focused target, stun /LB somes caster i wish to kill^^.
when i see how a smn can be damaging, even if i play my drg as safe i can, when i see smn doing 2 times the damage i do, it's right to see ranged have a good place in this slaughter mode.
btw i play whm most of the times i switch to dragoon if we are too much healers. it's certainly because i heal most of the time i used to play my melee like that, i know what it mean when i can't heal fast enough a melee, or even when the melee is out of range for me
The advice to give to the melee, is play safe don't go rambo !
when a game is not so balanced, we adapt the way we are playing to get place for any low tier

Lately, it's either been nearly all heals and BLM or tons of melee and few heals or BLM lol. Needless to say, we never have a remotely decent chance to win with the latter if any other faction outnumbers us on the only meaningful jobs in Slaughter, as sad as that is to point out. i can't see a group full of melee win also, too difficult.
it's like when you no healer on a group and nobody switch, we still need a good group,
but if you have 1 or 2 melee that don't play like rambo, you still can do something but it will still difficult against a group with only blm/smn/heal, even very difficult, happily you don't only encounter group like that.
now you have a group like heal and only melee, you will never win lol

they should of had n emergency maintenance asoon as they relised they messed up now ur just gettin premade groups stacked with blm takiing advantage of the system for easy wins n kills
I don't know why they are adding content without fixing up the original content because PvP in this game is far less enjoyable in this game than even RNG in other classes put together.
Pvp is broken....like seriously broken, 4 hrs trying to que and nothing...I remember the the good old days(last week) when i'd only have to wait 30 minutes.
no1 wants to go til the problem is fixed why waste 15mins in slaughter facing premade groups stacked with blm ?? not even worth going lol
