The expression my Lala made at that point was priceless. We need that as an emote.I love that my character finally met someone that truly terrified her. Whether it is ascians or primals the warrior of light looks mostly annoyed at these obstacles but when Hildy's mom showed up for the first time and started issuing orders my character looked truly frightened.
This info been out for 4 years and has been translated for a long time.
Gilgamesh role is quite small in Type-0 but mostly only to serve as a way to provide his origins.
Basically his entire role in Type-0 is just to show how Gilgamesh becomes the Gilgamesh we know today and a good amount of his backstory requires lore scavenging which players can miss if they don't aim for 100% Game.
Keep in mind Type-0 Gilgamesh is still his original self before he developed his Weapon Taking habbit but the reason behind that habbit he has now is the only back story Type-0 revealed that serves to be relevent to Type-0 Main Story so I'll leave that info out since I don't want to spoil the Canon ending of Type-0

To sum it up: THANK MENPHINA IT'S OVER (even if it is just for now).
Not lacking a sense of humour here, I often crack up at the most insignificant things, but YE GODS, going through the Hildibrand questline was simple suffering every time. -_- Idk. It feels way too forced. It feels out of place too, as far as I'm concerned - would love such type of content, something that's for the fun only and not a mindless grind or an impossible-to-beat trial. But this...ugh. Just no. (Check Briardien's lines, he's spoken for me every time he commented on Hildibrand or the overall situation.)
Also, bringing Gilgamesh back in felt really way too forced and lazy; Hildibrand's mom looks young enough to be his little sister; and whatever happened to Nashu's little stalker? The Uldah-Sildih lore addition was great in this though, thumbs up for that (although also felt rather weird, such serious stuff in such silly content).
If only the writer of the hildibrand quest line would write the same engaging content for the main story... maybe the 90 quests from ramuh to snowcloak wouldn't have been such an eye bleed.
It is most likely because the writers for Hildibrand series has more freedom to write the Hildy story compared to the Main Scenario writers which have to follow a story that already exist.
While each Hildy episodes are linked, how the story play out is random which allows the writers to go crazy with their imagination on what happens in the Hildibrand Series like massive tornados, God like naked person, and a mother that can one shot any being.
Main Scenario can not go the level of crazy like the Hildy series due to being a more direct storyline.
I wish Enkidu had more lines and character depth, other than being summoned from a few boxes of crystals.
Best scene ever has to be when Hildibrand's mom beats Godbert over the head with a frying pan.

aye, tis true. Still... it would be nice if it didn't feel like they were trying to make us suffer through the main story missions. Go collect tea? Pass our uniforms? Prepare my bed? Go talk to the person in the room right next to me then come back to me, now back to them, make sure you check again with me? ..... Hero of light? Messenger of Light more like.
I'm kinda confused since i breezed through his quest, but is the Nashuu we see no longer the Real Nashuu, but one that's disguised as her?
No, there was only a brief moment when the real Nashuu was knocked unconcious and the thief took her identity. The thief was thwarted though and the real Nashuu comes back with Inspector Briaden, after Briaden finds her. So by the end of the season, it's the real Nashuu, and both thieves are captured.
