Square: What happened to basement crafting (FC crafting)?

As someone mentioned, 2.5 more than just what we got yesterday. It's 2.51 next month and 2.55 in March. It could still be added, but I think the bulk of FC crafting will come with the expansion.

Well yes, but I think most people here are missing the part where it's specifically stated the Aetherial Wheel is made from the new FC crafting system. The Wheel is out, and it is not. So I am thoroughly confused.

Airship building? Is there a use for that right now? Heavens ward is still a bit off.

Good question and I'd also like to know why a medium house can only have 6 of the 8 stations?

I'm almost certain that the level 1 aetherial wheel stand you can buy from the sutler is just a basic sample. Stands with more slots and that can hold higher grade wheels will probably be crafted through the new FC crafting system. The menus and naming conventions make it obvious there will be expansion, and that means it can still be an "FC crafting" thing.

They specifically stated that the Aetherial Wheel will be the introduction to Free Company crafting. It is, we can "craft" Lv1 Actions with it. As usual the developers being tight lipped about something is just leading to confusion amongst the playerbase...

Had they just said "We'll be starting Free Company Crafting off with the Aetherial Wheel which will let you craft Actions" there would be no confusion, instead they go "The Aetherial Wheel is the start of Company Crafting! OooOooOooh what could that be~" and let people assume things like it's part of the Airship.

There was no FC crafting of any kind involved with this. I crafted the thing myself, bought the wheel...I am so confused.

Can a dev please explain? lol
