I have a post a few pages ago with some different configurations. Full BiS with crafted sacrifices tons of VIT, but I have it in there (no to mention ridiculously expensive with the melds).

Pretty interesting outcome. That's the best I've been able to come up with so far. Has anyone else found a materia layout that gives better results? Added another two sets using Flint Caviar and crafted.

Thank you for that. I just got those crafted piece. I'm actually getting back into mnk. Been a Ur since last time I put on the fist. Ok I think first thing I'm going to do is get them melded then work on poetics.

hey guys i finally cleared t13 yesterday as monk, i am wondering how much total dps expected from IL123 monk? with no str pot use

I cleared t13 last week as i126 monk and had 430 dps in the fight. Was my 1st time downing t13 so I was playing safe in phase 4 losing a lot of GL in ES and megaflare but I got Goblin server's 1st Dreadwyrm claws. The other ninja and drg were doing 440+ dps though.... Also for the other guy who was asking bout dummy parse, I did a 3 min dummy parse with the i135 claws and got 585 dps no food, pots.

Also I'm PREETY Sure our BiS just changed due to i110 crafted.

After dabbling with it just a bit today. The earrings are a definite highlight since they come DET capped and you can make a couple good stat load outs with them depending on what you are looking for. However, going after too many pieces is going to cost a ridiculous amount. I'd probably only recommend people sticking to maybe a couple pieces. The belt is still the best crafted piece since you can pretty much cap all the stats (-1 DET, -1 ACC) which you can't do with anything else.

Also as Dervy has pointed out in the other thread there may actually be some minor DPS losses by running too many crafted pieces. I've somewhat suspected this might be a problem, but I didn't have any real way to test it. Since the stat weights are just an estimate built from your primary stat as the base it also drives the weights of the secondaries. So if you drop too much STR then your weights on secondaries will be affected by it.

When/if Savage Final Coil comes out the i110 accessories will be highly valuable though because of the potential VIT gains.
