Ok started my first crafted accessories. I bought the earing since it have that det. For it. Stats I went with 18 crit 18 SS 9 acc
ok after I did all the comparison for stat weight seems that dread striking earing won by 2 str to it. My crafted earring only got to 29.928 str/ poetic earring got 26.21 and dredwyrm earring got 31.13 str. Now back on my crafted, if I made the crit to 19 instead of 18, my stat weight 30.142 str

You have to remember that the real benefit of the crafted accessories is the ability to have accuracy on them while still obtaining other secondaries. That accuracy isn't being reflected in your base stat weight, but it is something that needs to be factored into the gear set as a whole because when you have a crafted piece that can have accuracy as well as 2 or 3 other secondary stats on it it will allow you to free up your accuracy weight on other pieces or potentially use non accuracy items of higher ilvl.ok after I did all the comparison for stat weight seems that dread striking earing won by 2 str to it. Long story short, don't always look at everything as a piece vs piece scenario. You need to look at gear set vs gear set.

502 skill speed (No thanks.)
Hey guys! Great explanation for rotations.
I'm new and I'd like to know if it is updated for the new patch or it wouldnt necessary.
Thanks a lot!
I agree. If you're going for the Belt/Helm meld combo like I will be doing, then this would be your best bet:
Set 1)

ACC: 536
CRT: 581
DET: 414
SS: 443
Food: Flint Caviar HQ
Weight: 1043.682

Yes. Read everything on the front page. Then read this linked post.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2717207
Now read the rest of the 466 pages when at work/college/school.
One thing I've started doing when giving people gear sets is only showing STR gains from the gear, and omitting STR that you get from the race/job combo since that can vary. I get 2 less STR since I'm a Seeker of the Sun in all your sets. Just a minor suggestion so people aren't all flipping out when they factor things up as a different race and their STR total is different.
Also set 3...that looks painful on TP, haha!
Edit - Actually, I only list gear values on the other stats too. Since 341 SS and CRIT are just base values at 50 for 2.5 GCD and base crit %.
