I thought they said something to the effect of "This will be the last of his story for now. We're gonna focus on other stuff but if people seem to want him back we might figure something out."

I think, unless they have some plans in their back pocket, we wont see the return of Hildebrand quests specifically until 4.0 but I'm confident there will be some other similar content slated for 3.0 to replace the Hildy quests. It too will be a Zany, over the top single player story for fun.

I find trolling hard to understand. I guess I get the whole attention seeking thing, but what's so entertaining about stirring up an argument on a subject that's obviously well loved or hated.

I will say, I'm happy this thread is getting lots of attention though. It shows how much people really like the content that's being developed and how popular some of the characters are. Taking things like this seriously is awesome because it means players are enjoying the game. Even if you like or dislike it, you care enough to voice your opinion on the subject.

Not to mention the vast majority of the community is too busy doing other things or playing the game to read the general discussion forum...

The Hildibrand quests are by far the most enjoyable content in the game. I'd happily trade any Savage coil in for Hildibrand any day.

Yea I don't really get people posting on their alts but after looking at the FC the poster is from as well as some of that FC members posting in this thread - I can say that they are serious and are not posting here just for the sake of trolling.

I loved and enjoyed Hildibrand - however, I also do believe it is overrated and does not have much re-play value for me.
