Hi guys so long story short 3 days ago I accidently Hey 7spent 825 poetics on the DRG chest when I ment to spend it on the legs.

Were you never gonna need the Chest armor? Seems kinda silly to waste your freebie on that if so. I accidentally bought a BLM piece once when I meant to get the healer gear but I just said oh well. I don't ever play BLM anymore but I figured one day I'll actually lose out on something I really need...just my two gil anyways.

So like an hour after the purchase I sent in a support ticket And got a response pretty quickly telling me too discard the chest and then send in some info which I did and got a reply saying all that\\'s left is to wait for confirmation that I dropped the chest and then I\\'d get my legs in the mail. That was 2 days ago 55 im wondering if any of you have had a similar experience and how long did it take u to receive your item??

Both legs and chest for DRG are BiS. Also the legs are the better purchase to upgrade first due to them being det+crit over the Astrum crit + skill speed. Also DRG Dreadwyrm legs are a turn 13 drop, Chest from turn 11.
499 acc with your present gear, if you doing turn 9, use acc food ^_^

Uncalled or not, that should teach you not to make hastu decision. Be glad that we still have one chance replacing option. And here you even ask for the second chance? When you buy things, like seriously why you have to rush? It is not like a limited edition or while stock lasts item only, you know? Also there is a prompt text to confirm your purchase again,too bad if you rush through it, then you have to face consequences.

Looks like someone made a "hasty" decision to not proof read their writing before submitting, can't get a GM to fix that you know.

The mistaken purchase of an item doesn't sound like something the one time item restore would normally cover or would be used for, so I'm a little surprised they allow this.

Nonetheless, given that players can play MMOs on the same account for many years limiting item restore to only once per account is too strict in my opinion. Some other MMOs don't offer item restore at all, but one MMO in particular - which FFXIV has drawn some inspiration from - allows players to request it through an automated process every 30 days. (That MMO operator also keeps deleted characters that have reached level 50 or higher indefinitely so players can always restore them, no matter how long the account is inactive).

In fact, if Square Enix wanted to make some money, they could offer item restores as an account service in the Mog Station...

i would strongly disagree with this in games like the censored one is *cough*, the way they replace anytime is by giving you an exact replica, with damages done to the in game market nor currency of in game goods, this allowed people to earl a lot of in game currency using real world money, if SE were to implement this, lets say it was sold on the market for 1000000 gil with a 5% tax, they would have to take the 95,0000 off the player's character as well as add 50,000 into the econamy of the game, not only could this be abused by those who buy things off the market trolling by taking the item off the player who bought it (turning the market bored into a minefield) but could also be used to heavily troll crafters who when crafting an item would have to have there characters rolled back to before they crafted it in the name of fairness.

the system itself would cause far more issues if it was to be used more freely and thus limiting it to once per character keeps things both fair for everyone and fair for those who do mess up.

OP has dragoon leveled and intended to buy a dragoon piece. Which is why this whole thing doesn't even make a whole lot of sense. The body and legs aren't even close to each other on the list. And you were likely going to buy both eventually anyways. Not sure what the big deal was.

Or you could note that their "main class" on forum profile is Lancer lvl 50.

But agree, using one time use on this is a waste, but their mistake ^_^
