
I feel each turn will drop slot specific tokens, e.g. t10 drops gloves + belt, t11 drop helm + boot tokens etc.at most i can see them implement a token item that has a chance of dropping in place of gear for every coffer in raids. something like 10% chance, and lets you buy any item from that particular coffer at an NPC. that way certain gear is still restricted to certain turns, but the unlucky have basically double the chance to get the item they want if no one else needs anything, while not going all out on a token progression system that'd bore a lot of people imo

it's possible that it'll be much like the Token system in WoW. Some classes may share the same Token (DRG/MNK, NIN/BARD, SMN/BLM...) and the drops will be fixed like you said, like DRG/MNK gloves token in turnX, etc, etc.
