Anyone else use a Fantasia and immediately regret it?

I've been the same since initial creation, but my wife regretted going from a miqo'te to an elezen. Had to set her straight, and explain why elezen are superior.

This is the exact reason I don't want to change my Miqo'te, but instead start a brand-new character when Heavensward comes out. I really like my character's appearance, as I tailored every facet of his appearance to "match" the Artifact Armor for the Monk, and even though I hate playing a "pretty boy" race, I've grown to sort of like the character, and would hate to see him "replaced". The only thing I question, is if I should use the Fantasia potion to change the style of fur on his tail, which seems silly to not be included in the Aesthetician anyways.

Well, that, and I sometimes wonder if I should have chosen a different Jaw style. It's such a minor change, I'd hate to use the Fantasia (and still wind up regretting it, especially), but I know that when I originally created this character, I completely overlooked the fact that there even *was* a Jaw option, so I wonder sometimes if that little change would make me like him more or not.

I find it funny that a game with so many wonderful, unique character possibilities is so very alt-unfriendly. xD It can be hard to pick just one! I'll probably use my free fantasia to make my lone, low-level alt a male Miqo'te instead, but I find it hard to get involved with alts in this game, y'know?

It is very alt-unfriendly, but I'm still having a blast with all the options I have at my disposal. Freaking 6 alts on one server and past wanting to change Vanicesol back to Midlander and changing my Female Mi'Qote's last name I don't regret it at all. Far better than me wanting to buy fantasias to make different races and see how they look...

Ugh, I can't ever be happy with my character as I've used a fantasia potion... 11 (You're reading that right) ELEVEN TIMES. Male Cat -> Different Male Cat -> Female Highlander -> Male Midlander -> FemCat -> FemCat -> Female Roe -> Male Midlander -> Male Cat -> Male Cat -> Male Highlander -> Male Midlander

And I've been fending off the urge to change into a Male Roe for the past month now and am desperately holding off changing again until Au'Ra are out in Heavensward. I have an addiction. Halp.

I change pretty often. Probably been through about 10 fantasia's since launch. Overall I prefer Miqote because of superior animations/emotes. But I need a break from being a cat from time to time.

Good to know Im not the only one with a fantasia addiction :P
Fantasias are addicting to me because I also eventually get bored with a specific look. If eye color and skin color could be changed @ the Bell, I'd probably Fantasia less though.

Yes in a way... Through out last year and the year before I'd be constantly stuck between Hyur and Elezen. I initially started out as Midlander Hyur for Beta P3 (My first Marik was Miqo'te, but that only lasted for like 2 days @.@) And I tweaked Marik's look with the benchmark until P4 came out until I had the perfect look for him. I played with an alt. after launch for a while, and he was an Elezen and I was like "Oooo I really really like Elezen now too!" So I fantasia'd back and forth for awhile until I realized that Marik is so much more, and he's a part of me and my past!

I brought Marik over from FFXI and kept his back story from there, allowing Atomos to "send" him from one dimension to another, and Marik was hume over in Vana'diel, so it really was no choice after all. So glad I came to that decision before I bought the 5 pack fantasia lol.

I actually know someone who changes their race/appearance anywhere from 4-8 times a week. I couldn't imagining doing it that often @.@

I have.. alot ;___;. I can't remember how many times though... I think it went something like Miqote--> slightly different miqote --> original miqote --> hyur --> miqote --> lala ---> miqote --> lala --> hyur --> lala --> miqote... yeah that sounds about right @-@
most times I would switch right back to my old one because i regretted the change.. atm I'm content with this one buuut I know once the new race comes out ill probably switch 12 more times -___-
