Anyone else use a Fantasia and immediately regret it?

I'm the same way. I can't even change my character's hair. I've been with her for too long, and for all intents and purposes now she is me.

I've never immediately regretted my decision, but definitely have over time.

This is meeeeee. I went from hyur male > miqo'te male > roegadyn female > miqo'te female > miqo'te male > lalafell male > miqo'te female > miqo'te male...

I usually get over the shock factor within a few days, but after a month or two I start feeling really uncomfortable and want to change again. :/ I changed names a few times too because I'd feel weird with the same name and different race (or gender). Seems like I always gravitate back to kittyboys, so I'm trying to stay that for a while. I'll definitely have to try out an Au Ra with 3.0, however. Sigh.

I have the exact same problem with height, though. I cannot stand tall characters. I really love how roegadyn females and elezen females look, but towering over people even with shortest height available just feels strange to me. That's the main reason I'll probably end up trying an Au Ra female instead of an Au Ra male.

I've used a good number of them just to mind fuck my raid mates and FC mates.
They've recognized my character for the delicious brown she is so one day I made my character pale white, then a pale white cat a few days later. Then I switched over to male hyur for a day and no one even noticed that time really. I've also used 2-3 to go 1-2 shades more brown at times too. So no I don't regret it.

I sorta did have the urge but stuck with it. I was originally a peaches & cream skinned Moonkeeper since 1.0. For the heck of it, I wanted to see how I looked like a blueberry! So changed the skin, realized I had to redo almost all my glamors (alot of colors clash with dark skin tone). For the first week I was pretty much freaking out. Felt uncomfortable not looking like original Michi. Over time though I've gotten rather used to it. Now I'm rather happy with the changes.

Now if only I could do that with hair.. changing my hair color/style every few days >.> but at least that doesn't cost real money to do .. thankfully :3

I regret naming my character using Seeker naming conventions because I really want to make her a Keeper now.

I still feel this itch even when I believe otherwise.

I decided to screw around with the Fantasia to change my main over herefrom Midlander to Highlander and screw around because I thought you can transfer fantasias that you get from your other characters...
And now I honestly on some levels regret it because I feel Highlander is far too gruff for my toon even though it's been 2-3 months since the change.
If I can find some way to take pictures of characters data on the character selection screen, I'll poof up what she looked like before.

Lol I've used like 5 phantasias already. Two were for fun and temporary, one was to relive my old 1.0 miqote days, and recently I went male midlander. But now that females are getting those two beautiful hairstyles....

I'm itching to go back female midlander again.

Nope, O wait. I took about 1 hour to make my character the 1st time. I never changed. Sure I use the hair dress a few time but my core will always be the same.

I've been considering changing my eye colour lately but don't have the guts to go ahead with it because I know I'll regret it, haha.

Yep, me too. ;_; I recently switched from female Midlander to male Miqo'te, after seeing the /cpose feature (no more pelvic thrust stance!) and their awesome new hairstyles. But it feels sort of awkward to have my main be a male, and that buff little man bod of his is a pain to dress. I like my male Miqo'te, but he's such a dude . . . and I miss having a girl. ^^;

I'm almost certain I'll be switching to female Au Ra, so I'm not sure if I'll change back to female Midlander or just stick it out with the cat boy until 3.0.

I find it funny that a game with so many wonderful, unique character possibilities is so very alt-unfriendly. xD It can be hard to pick just one! I'll probably use my free fantasia to make my lone, low-level alt a male Miqo'te instead, but I find it hard to get involved with alts in this game, y'know?
