Intercrossing rules made it predictable that this would work, but I am here to confirm that Pahsana Fruit + Royal Kukuru = Thavnairian Onion seeds.



I only had two Pahsana Fruit plants, and they both gave me Thav Onions so no clue what the alternative is :/

Pretty new to gardening but I assume Pahsana fruit + Jute/Glazenut should also be able to produce Thavnarian onions, right?

My path is:

1 Plot: Mandrake + almond = nymeia lily
2 plot: krakka root + mandrake = mimett gourd
3 Plot: Mimett groud + nymeia lily = thavnairian onion.

At this phase you will get Thavnairian onion seed.

Then you can change plot 2 to => thavnairian onion + mandrake = mimett gourd

The reason I ask is I'm having horrible luck with getting the chocobo food (curiel root/mimett gourd/sylkis bud) from krakka root+Almond/Mandrake... I did what you do Rappa and got

Mandrake + almond = 8 nymeia lily
krakka root + mandrake = 1 mimett gourd

In fact, I have already got both jute and glazenut loops running in my other two beds from scratch so now I want to use the extra seeds from that to make thavnarian onion with CR/MG/SB. Sadly I don't have enough but Pahsana fruit seeds sell cheaply on my server so I wanted to make sure I could buy a few of those and use with glazenut/jute for onions.

I did 2 rotations to get my first thavnairian onion plantation.
When i plant thav, i check what seeds i need and plant them.

You have got 8 nymelia lily, so you next step is plant one mimett groud plot or 2 plots.

I think it should work, so far it looks like any grade 2 chocobo food (curiel/mimett/sylkis/pahsana/forgot the rest) and broombush/glazenut/jute can produce Thav Onions. Judging by this post, they also work with royal kukuru/nymeia lily/halone gerbera.

I've tried this economic cross for Mimett but I've harvested a total of 8 Garlean Garlic plants and 11 Krakka plants, none of them produced any seed.

I checked the FFXIV Gardening spreadsheet and it said "Harvested" = Krakka, while "Adjacent" = Garlic, and "Reversible" = no, so that means only the Krakka can yield Mimett Seeds, right? Though it's not 100% that a cross will yield seeds, failing 11 times in a row on the same cross is really strange.

Just to check, did you use Grade 3 Thanalan Soil?

Also to double check-you're planting the Krakka after and next to the garlic? I've only been gardening a month or so, but I've been pretty diligent about fertilizing to get quick turnover, and from about 8 full replants I've only had about 2 return no seeds while using the g3 than soil-of those at least one probably wasn't supposed to produce a seed (my notes aren't the most robust >_< )
