Just to check, did you use Grade 3 Thanalan Soil?

No, I was using G2 Thanalan on all of them. Guess that's what I get for being stingy Still, 0/11 is unbelievable.

Also to double check-you're planting the Krakka after and next to the garlic? I've only been gardening a month or so, but I've been pretty diligent about fertilizing to get quick turnover, and from about 8 full replants I've only had about 2 return no seeds while using the g3 than soil-of those at least one probably wasn't supposed to produce a seed (my notes aren't the most robust >_< )

Yeah G3 Thanalan almost never failed me either. Too bad I planted Krakka first, so I got only 11 chances of crossing out of 12 Krakka plants.

RNG is RNG and we all hate it.
I've had failed crosses, up to 2 or 3 out of 4, with Thanalan 3 soil as well. That just makes me want to cry.

So gardening confirmed to be used with the racing chocobos. Gotta wait to see if there's new crops (likely) or if they just use the current chocobo feeds

Blood Peppers are the new Glazenut from the looks of it! Anyone start crossing for them?

The new seeds (Coerethan Tea, Pearl Sprouts, Oldworld Fig) can be found as hidden items on the unspolied nodes now. I still have yet to locate the Chive Seeds (assuming they will need to be crossed).

Time to harvest myself some seeds and see whether they can intercross

I've had a few crosses with the new seeds, but nothing interesting yet.

- Pearl sprouts planted next to Coerthan tea leaves gives an Azeyma rose seed.
- Coerthan tea leaves planted next to pearl Sprouts gives a La Noscean leek seed.
- Coerthan tea leaves planted next to jute gives a broombush seed .

I derped a bit doing this patch because I can't remember whether I replaced anything in slot 1. Judging by my market purchases though, it was originally a Halone gerbera, in which case:

- Coerthan tea leaves planted next to Halone gerbera gives a broombush seed.

Gonna try a few more crosses cos I didn't realise there was an old world fig seed originally.
