Although we are all thinking that this dragon is leading the attack and that he might be niddhog, remember it's a trailer, we just have one scene, we don't know if he is niddhog, he could be one of his general or something, they could keep Niddhog as a fight for Heavensward.

Talking about the CG cutscene, I did see some speculation that this could be the CG midlander, I doubt it, but it'd be pretty cool if he finally showed up, lol.

This guy's an Elezen. He may even be a certain Elezen from a certain storyline involving that burple armor he's wearing. Though, I'm more concerned about what's lurking behind him.

Perhaps the dragon on the cover is really Nidhogg and, since Midgardsormr = Jormungand, his brother from the Heavensward trailer is Vrtra?

I'm still leaning toward Fafnir as the one seen in the 2.5 trailer.

I doubt they would use that name for a regular dragon. They'll want to keep it for a dungeon in the void and possible FFV references, with Krile "everyone completely forgot about her" Baldesion that disappeared along with other scientists and the island they were on.

Not sure if it ment literaly or metaphorically as in she was a Dragon Sympathyser (As Iceheart is, thus life meets the legend) rather then she literraly well <Clears Throught> ****ed a Dragon.

It would seem Shiva was a Saint of Ishgaurd before he banishment thus why the Ishgaaurdians refer to her as a saint and not "The Heratic Shiva". She's now known as "Saint of Heratics" but that seems to suggest that she is a sympathyser rather than a Dragon ***er.

Not 100% sure how that'd work any way since she was (Presumably) an Elezin in life before she was resurected as a primal and the dragons are, well, 30' high and 20' long DRAGONS in most cases. >_> It does remind me of a certin song though. I warn you though. It's kinda graphic.
