1. Gil sellers spam everywhere, you saying they don't is complete lie and you know it.

Tis' not a lie.. For as long as i'm playing in tonberry, i have never get a single tell or friend request from RMT seller.. While in moogle EU, the very first player who greet me when i just interact with eorzea was RMT ads tell..
But comparing these two, i'm seeing more leveling bots in tonberry rather than moogle eu..

My old group was seeking for a WHM replacement. He initially agreed to join but silently left the linkshell the next day, claiming that he preferred to play SCH (but his thread says he can play WHM as well lel).

He kind of reluctantly came back to help for a day because he pulled out of a sudden but his attitude was plain bad. Most substitutes that subs in to teams in Tonberry I've seen are good people who can adapt to the existing strageties even though it may differ from what they have been doing previously. Even if they disagree with the strategy most just follow along or politely suggest something.

This dude was a hell of a work, refused to follow along and kept bickering throughout the run and causing lots of unnecessary tension.

After which, he came to shit on our recruitment thread with his awesome attitude. The posts, including my response to him, was eventually deleted but I guess the mod didn't do a clean job because another of our trail dude's response to him was still there:

Mods here hardly delete posts. If things get out of hand, they come in, make a post to warn and saying things are getting off track and thread locked. The Tonberry sub-section hardly gets moderation actions anyways. So I wonder.

Concurrently at that time he submitted an application to the FC I am in and saying what a team player he is and how he is willing to adapt to strategies yada yada but too bad - people saw what he did already.

For the past 12 months in Tonberry, I've only gotten 1 RMT tell. That was when I changed to a non-50 class, I guess I was within the target range of RMT bots and they detected I was non-50 so they sent me a tell.

When everyone you run into is an *******, the problem is usually on your side. That isn't to say that all clusters aren't just full of them, but still, you can't be the only good person out there ya know...

I don't know about you, but I can walk around in an mmo and see ******* for daaays. You can't really apply that logic to the op like you might in real life. In real life? Sure.

Mmos are different though. For instance I think talking about sex in open chat is rude and disrespectful. But I don't react to it the way I would in real life. I just ignore the idiocy in game and move on. If I'm at the grocery store with my kid and someone is openly talking about their sexual adventures so all can hear I address it.

With that said, I think this game has a really decent community for an mmo.

Well pal, most people who I hang around and play with in game knows that I am pretty much a laid back person, and even though I bitch about stuff I hardly dislike a person with a passion and remember their deeds. You're probably one of the honored few.

Its good news that you eventually found a great static, I hope that you can get your T13 clear soon and maybe have some fun at the Gold Saucer when it is out

I don't think you know what elitist means? So... you were using a different strategy to the majority, and this caused several wipes. Clearly you can't speak jp, so they were unable to explain to you how to do it. What else do you expect them to do apart from vote abandon? Keep on wiping because you don't know the common strategy on the server?

And on the topic of RMT, I don't think I have had a single RMT tell on Tonberry in the past 6 months. I do see bots though... but no tells for some reason.

A jp once explained to me with mark and waymark in garuda extreme, for once occasion.. Most of the times, it doesnt appear like that.. There's also auto translation... Like in shiva extreme, i usually provoke when she changes weapon from staff/sword.. But in jp strat, most go with provoking at bow stance, hence difference in method. The next thing i know, vote abandon simply because "foreign way", while a simply auto translation saying provoke would suffice, which a tank explained to me after 3-4 dfs.. One word is enough to explain at times and they think when it's different strat means impossible.. If it's not elitist behaviour, what would it be then?

Out of Topic Question: How do you know if you're supposed to provoke at bow stance since Shiva haven't even changed her weapon yet? You wouldn't know if shes changing her weapon between staff/sword until she draws them out correct?
