I'm guessing those "elitists" demanding you do the dungeon their way were probably like "Kill adds" "Stop using Topaz Carbuncle" "Why are you 50 without your job yet?" etc etc?

When everyone you run into is an asshole, the problem is usually on your side. That isn't to say that all clusters aren't just full of them, but still, you can't be the only good person out there ya know...

Actually you know, you made yourself quite notorious for your attitude and what you did at the Tonberry section. Lots of people have seen it despite you have asked a mod to delete it, lel.

I was on a JP server when I came back to the game after ARR. I waited three hours for Sastasha normal. A friend told me to hit all language options. I sat there for 6 hours before I gave up and waited for my next paycheck to transfer servers to NA. Then I transferred to another because of lack of friends and attacks at me.

My personal rule is "no foreign or legacy servers," but whatever you feel is in your best interest. I'm sure no one will care in the end.

I can see what you means about NA Servers though looking over this forum thread. Day just 'bout los'in der minds over you leav'in. lol. The trolls are strong in this thread.

BTW why would you care how many languages people speak? Everyone except a few Frenchies (sorry guys, no racism but truth) I have met speaks English so it is ok. You have a few mistakes in your post (as do I), but you don't seem to be unable to speak English. Also Europe is multicultural land, I don't know how it works in Japan, but here almost every country has it's own language so expect everyone who knows English to speak atleast 2 languages, thats IMO the world average standard so consider yourself to be a minority.

^ This. To OP: NA generally tend to speak English, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone who can understand it. Why be a language snob when you're ranting about other people being elitist? I tend to second the popular opinion that if you're constantly coming across complete asses everywhere you go in game, especially to the point that you feel the need to transfer servers because of it, then the problem is most likely you. The JP will probably just end up treating you the same way the NA do.

With my short time stay in Typhon and a couple months stay on Mandragora - 2 predominately JP servers - they are pretty friendly there as long you can understand JP.

The JP do get turned off when they are unable to communicate with the party hence the - No NA or JP ONRY stuff.

But with a server like Tonberry - you can get around not knowing JP - but do expect some discrimination in DF when things goes wrong if you don't speak JP, though I have to say the DF there tends to be much more competent than the one on Aether.

Really? When i'm playing in tonberry and go dfing, most of the time they dont bother to explain, with the difference in language and all, then rather vote abandon every 2-3 wipes.. And i'm gonna say that JPs are ellitist too, but in their own way, much less drama involved simply because less communication being involved..
I have 2 characters, EU and JP, and i usually apply the strat i use in EU to JP, now i dont claim myself in making mistakes, we just have different strat, but when we got wipes because of this different strats, they are mostly just vote abandon while chanting in japanese (using google translate) "can't help much with a foreign here".. How's that not ellitist? -_[~.~]_-

1-Getting spammed by gil sellers for no reasons.
2-Not many people speaks other languages than english(I speak 4 languages).

2. How does 4 Languages have to do with winning dungeons? What are your chances ending up with people who speak those very same languages you speak in DF or PF really you cannot be serious.

There are elitist out there but your comment says "Who want you to play the dungeon their way" Now I know why people probably were getting mad at you, you probably ran ahead or did things your way and ended up wiping people out.

I agree to one thing there are people who don't explain and make you go to youtube to watch the fight to learn it, though sometimes that is needed in order to be 100% battle ready going in blind with seasoned players and 1 or 2 are going to get mad if you mess up its bound to happen in every server you go to you just probably had bad luck bumping into the wrong people.

I've never asked a mod to delete anything ? Do you honestly think I get off to the likes of what people think of me ? Lol very funny considering FFXIV is real life and all , I never knew. & while you're at it , this is when I first got to the server soooo do I know you lmao ?
