Why would an enemy that didn't appear in FFIII, be in a raid based on FFIII?

just because it's based on something from another FF game doesn't mean they plan have only the bosses of that part of the FF game.

Actually they do, all the bosses from the CT raids are bosses ( or strong ennemies for the LotA ) from FF3, it's supposed to be a fan service raid.

I think it's fairly obvious they are doing fan service for more than just FF3 fans for CT.

Red Lotus blade, gladiator ability from 1.0 and sword weapon skill from XI.

Hmm well it also looks just a little like enfire to me.. as he holds his left hand on the sword.. rather swinging the sword onto an enemy with fire.. but well.
i doubt also it is going to be a rdm.

Just Atomos, really. That didn't exist until FFV. Every other monster that has appeared in the Crystal Tower raid has either been pulled from Eureka, should have appeared earlier or are completely new monsters.

I'm probably going to get stuff thrown at me for saying this, but I really wish SE would try to make their trailers more appealing to people who aren't already playing FFXIV. That doesn't mean they can't appeal to current players as well, but it would be nice if they had promotional appeal.

I think I know what your trying to say like how blizzard with WOW has those cool and pretty epic trailers for their expansions well this is a patch not that. I'm hoping thou that they will be releasing an extended version of the heavensward trailer.
