that wouldnt be my money back and if you bought it else where and transfered servers who cares they just made real money off you and they got your gil win win for them. you can white knight it all you like but it still stands its a punishment if you wish to move.Prices vary from server to server, though. Some people could buy a plot cheap on one server then transfer to another and use their "plot coupon" to get the same plot at a lower price. Or, better yet, what if all those plots are occupied for whatever reason?
Again, it's a gil sink. You're not supposed to get your money back.

i started on this server at launch because every other server was full also at the time i was unaware of old friends playing the game. so its not really poor planing. Also i never said it was worth more then playing with them as i will transfer anyway but i dont see how i should lose what i invested my time gil and resources into.If 3mil of some ingame currency is more important to you than the joy of playing with your friends then I don't know what is wrong with you.
Also, why buy a house in the first place on a server that you plan to leave or don't feel at home. Don't get how that is the Dev's fault for your poor planning

The "why" is simple enough: your plot is probably already owned by someone else (especially since from my understanding we're talking about an S). Or rather, the game doesn't let you transfer house because that would be a very likely occurrence. Secondly, it's also to avoid exploit from when house prices were different by world. I could have transferred to a world with cheaper housing prices, buy a house, and then return to my previous server with the house.
You are not being punished for wanting to play with friends. "Punishment" is something that is done to discourage an unfair action, and that is not what the house reset was made for. It was made to prevent unfair actions, rather. So, no one is punishing you.
The real question is why buy a house on a server you're "not fond of"?
I wasnt unfond of at the time. also i already proved you point wrong you transferring to get a house just makes se more money and they get your gil they still win win. also it still can be considered punishment as it is a penalty received for a action taken.

You are not being punished. Stop playing the victim.
being penalized for transferring servers is a punishment. i spent my time scraping together money on a server with a shitty economy to buy a home and now will not only lose my house but items that were not cheap to make simply because they were placed down in my yard so that is punishment. thats like me saying if you leave your town you lose your house.

I don't see what "point" you proven wrong. SE may make more money because of transfer, that doesn't mean that exploiting server transfers to get cheaper houses is a fair thing to other players. Richer players would all transfer, buy cheaper houses, and transfer back. All the plots in their original server will then be taken before the RL-poorer players have a chance to afford the most expensive plots.
It's not a difficult concept:
"A" sells candies for 100 gil.
"B" sells candies for 50 gil.
Kid with $$$ goes to "B", pays 50gil for candies, and takes a seat at "A"'s table.
Kids who cannot afford the $$$ to transfer to "B" to buy cheaper candies watch as all "A"'s tables are filled before they can afford "A"'s candies and sit themselves.
But most importantly we're talking of an S plot so even if SE made you happy just to quit your whining YOUR PLOT IS ALREADY TAKEN.
Seriously, you'd sooner make 4M gil back than it'll take you to convince people SE pre-planned this whole ordeal to punish you thanks to a prophecy that foretold you'd make friends in a server and buy house in another.

So the person who has his house on the same place as you on the other server should be the one punished by having his house taken by you if you transfer?
The rains have ceased, and we have been graced with another beautiful day. But you are not here to see it..
okay so simple solution world are grouped by poor to rich if you get ticket from poor world and take to rich world you are requested to pay the difference before the plot is yours.if you go rich to poor you still sank your gil but you get what you paid for. Also its not just me ive seen other post else where saying it sucks they cant transfer because they will lose their house or so on. Also I'm not whining i posted asking for dev insight as to why people who wish to change servers lose 2-5mil+ gil just because they wish to change servers. the better idea would be the white knights to find someone else thread to rip apart if they dont have anything constructive as to why SE made the system this way.
