*loves on Haru btw* :3Take myself for example. I want to design an Arabic assassin that would take some parts of potentially exclusive monk gear to add sashes and other gold ornaments while revealing some skin to represent the harsh climates of the desert(and my kitty sexiness of course ;3c). Something that would eventually make me look like this but more FF-like and miqo'te-like.
I doubt my idea would break the vision or immersion and at the same time, I would have brought my own personal little touch to my character and the world of Eorzea, a world built by its inhabitants.
...but yeah, those arab-esque clothes in there are really designed awesomely. Simply feels organic.
Thanks you! Gotta love Haru and Free! These outfits are simply amazing! (And by the way, you quoted the wrong person xD) Anyway, I wanted to approach that style with the incoming gear of World of Darkness.
But apparently, they are monk exclusive thus preventing my ninja with kirpan daggers from wearing it proudly. If the set isn't locked, I'll be happy as it is a step in the right direction when it comes to glamour freedom but if it is... I'll be greatly annoyed and disappointed as there is simply no reasons for a dagger wielding class from wearing what a punching class wears as they are both in the same situation, fighting in melee range. The same goes with the cool look BLM pvp gear. I wanted it on my summoner but I will never be able to despite it being a mage robe. I'm stuck with the stupid looking deer carpet the designers call a dress :/

Right now I would really love to use the Saurian Tabard for a body glamor since it's dyeable, but I can't do that due to the restrictions that have been put in place. But that might ruin the image you say? Well that's funny considering I've been able to use the Foestriker's Tabard as a glamor this entire time.
So yeah, I wholly agree. Restrict job specific artifact gear (which really is the "image" of the jobs), and lift the rest of the restrictions beyond that.

That's also a great point. The line between acceptable and unacceptable makes no sense in this game. Just lift it ... what's the worse that can happen? Some random tank running around in robes? Some random healing in armor? IDK how that's worse than seeing snowmen and mogs running around.Right now I would really love to use the Saurian Tabard for a body glamor since it's dyeable, but I can't do that due to the restrictions that have been put in place.
