Suggestion: Aetheryte Shard at the Ruby Road Exchange

I really believe that the Sapphire Avenue Exchange in Ul'dah should have an Aethernet Shard right in the center so the Market Boards are easier to access. I already understand it is easy to get to them, but at the same time, why shouldn't Ul'dah have an Aethernet Shard near their Market Boards? They pride themselves on commerce, so it makes sense from a Lore perspective. if you teleport to Limsa Lominsa, all you have to do is turn around and you're at the Market Boards. Gridania you just have to take the Leatherworker's Aethernet Shard and you're just a stone's throw away. But Ul'dah you have to take the Adventurer's Guild Aethernet Shard and then zone on foot to get there. To me that just doesn't make sense for a country whose motto is for Coin and Country and is full of lazy proprietors

I agree but lore wise I suspect the lazy merchants don't walk there.

With money, you can buy runners. Plenty of poor folk who would jump at the job and plenty of merchants to hire them. There's also link pearls and mail when it comes to communicating directly between merchants. Or adventurers, those silly sods who will do anything for 50 gil and a hat.

The grand companies all have ample supplies of mini aetherites they could add to the Aethernet system though. There really is no reason for them not to add one there so that the hired help can be more efficient.
