I cannot for the life of me hit that last storm's eye if I go stuff > heavy > unchain > maim > berzerk > eye > bb combo > fracture > heavy > beast > maim > eye with 392 skill speed, even at my fc house's training dummy. Is it really my latency? Playing at 280-320. What's my option? Try for more skill speed or just deal with 8 hit berserk?

are u using macroed skills? try nonmacroed skills

I dont use /ac macros and all my ogcds are non macrod. My gcd skills are queueable.

All I can say is I wish our WAR read these threads like this. All of us DPS are over here squeezing all the DPS we can out of ourselves. We're about 10-15 seconds away form only seeing 4 Bennus but both of our tanks are at around 160 DPS or less. Just thinking about them doing an extra 60-80 makes me drool. We're beating enrage on T12 by like a second or two but it could be so much easier.

We're about 10-15 seconds away form only seeing 4 Bennus but both of our tanks are at around 160 DPS or less. Just thinking about them doing an extra 60-80 makes me drool. We're beating enrage on T12 by like a second or two but it could be so much easier.

If they aren't tanking they should be in full DPS mode. Only need around 8k HP for T12 so plenty of room to add STR and tons of time to take off defiance or DPS in sword oath. Getting 4 Bennus makes the fight very easy.

can you do

berserk>bb combo x3 at 392 skillspeed?

if you can, it just means you'll have to time or buffer your berserk to get 9 skills out of it. use something like bloodbath, internal release, foresight, etc, and then berserk right after it. alternatively, you'd probably wait til your gcd timer is around 7'oclock and then you'd hit berserk then, with your latency

if not, then yeah, it's just latency messing with you, can't help that much sadly

I tried doing just berserk and 3x BB at 390 SSP and I was able to hit all 3 only once out of 4 attempts and it has to be exactly immediately after berserk. Starting berserk as the gcd spins at 9 oclock or even 11 oclock will make me unable to hit the 9th hit. If I berserk and hit the gcd just a micro second late and I'm screwed out of the 9th hit. Ugh, that's pretty lame. I guess I'm gonna need more skill speed..

Is it even worth it, if I have to take SSP up to 420+ and sacrifice some crit and det? Dont know how much I'm gonna have to sacrifice..

Just get to whatever Skill Speed you can comfortably do 9 hits in. The Det/Crit you'll sacrifice along the way literally has a negligible effect on your damage and will be mostly made up for by the Skill Speed itself... and that 9th hit.
