See? I wouldn't mind that and those are actually pretty good ideas.

Changing the current system to DoW and DoM which will allow more freedom but still restrict the different discipline like many other games is what I had in mind at first. Either that or create craftable/dyable versions of the same armors... But considering the amount of work that would require, I doubt it'll ever happen.



Good idea too! Glamour should be a reward for something. Either through currency/craftable or through certain questings/leveling up.

At least restrictions would be lifted somehow.

I agree, the amount of clothes a mage can wear is dangerously low.

Tunics and Tabards or Leather Armor that can be worn by Mages

This is somewhat incorrect actually, there is ONE piece of leather armor (A jacket.) that mage, dps, tank, and crafting/gathering classes can use. In the v1.0 leatherworker main storyline there was an item called the Wood Wailer's Jacket you had to repair. At one point in it you were instructed to wear it and run around Gridania for a little bit to try it out after repairs. You were able to keep it by storing the jacket on a retainer. In A Realm Reborn the jacket still remains untouched (Except for stats.) allowing all classes to wear the armor still. I've used it as a glamour piece at times to create a cleric-style look. Unfortunately for new players and those who never completed the quest line it can no longer be obtained so that's why I list this as somewhat incorrrect.

I didn't include 1.0 restricted or Dated Gear to the list since there was no point as they are phased out in 2.0.
Sure I can wear my Dated Lanturn shield and dated armor. But that isn't fair to players new to the game.

Being Legacy shouldn't give me the right to have more glamour options over other players when Glamours wasn't a thing in 1.0.
