people would complain even more
once a week was what happened when we crashed the wards and reset, do you really think people wanna go back to having to replace their retainers every so often?
My XIVPad: http://xivpads.com?2031148
No, I agree it would be a pain. It would have its pros and cons just like any other Idea or fix for this. I just hate trying to place my retainer and having it be full. I will admit if I'm not keeping up on my retainer, I'm just taking up space some one else could use.
i have 10 retainers in my ward so i cant talk lol
My XIVPad: http://xivpads.com?2031148
Lol, so bottom line it this is an area needing some attention. Not just a "band aid" for temporary fix.
And this is why undercutting is retarded. You're just shooting yourself in the foot. Some people have multiple characters with one always by the wards so when you undercut them you'll find yourself undercut soon after. So it becomes an annoying game of who can sit by the wards the longest and relist their crap the fastest. This is why I'm more for a price history style AH like XI than a current price listing.
But hey this is benefiting me right now, the casuals don't have multiple characters logged in and nor do they have the time to camp the wards. Flooding the lowest 20 with NQs is fun too when someone undercuts your HQs from the wrong ward. They either move their retainer or get pushed out the market completely since people will only check the correct ward. Shitty tactics to combat shitty players. :P

And people called me a troll when I said MW can't be fixed. No matter how much patchwork you do on this Frankenstein, it's still a rotten monster that nobody can deal with.
Heh, you think undercutting didn't happen in FFXI? It did. And I participated in some very heated undercutting competitions. Since I was selling reraise hairpins, which sell like hot cakes, all I had to do was check the name of the last person to sell an item. If it wasn't me, it means I was undercut and I'd relist all my items. And this is why undercutting is retarded. You're just shooting yourself in the foot. You can't stop undercutting. It's capitalism 101.
people will always complain about undercutting, how the current system causes it, no matter what system you have, and what game you are inHeh, you think undercutting didn't happen in FFXI? It did. and they will always claim there is a way to fix it, a way that includes making it like another game
that other game..which also has undercutting
people are just blind, undercutting is imposible to get rid of
