guess im still spoiled by FFXI's giant log...made the chat the main focus of the game so it was much harder to miss.It does tell you in log.
I would like a chime and popup window, cuse really how often do you get invited randomly for it to popup annoyingly? Most of the time you're expecting it such as Seeking or LS Event.
You cant invite someone while they're doing actions so you wont get it when fighting.
Yea, can be a combination of both, chime/jingle and popup.
Pop-up can be something not too obscuring, like text instead of a window. I'm sure it will be ok, not to mention as someone stated, how often do you get invites for it to be an issue?
^ until there is a reasonable seek system, its probably not a big deal. Right now what we have is a joke and anyways most people dont play with strangers as it is.
I'm glad I'm not the only blind player. Maybe the skill to spot the icon improves over time too in XI a pt inv for a BLM was always a godsend so I developed a special skill to spot the text hue even in the fast scrolling battle-moments.
I don't really mean random invites though. Sometimes I'm with a friend, we chat, and if they decide to trade/invite me to party suddenly, even if they tell me before hand, I tend to miss the invite. And then they have to tell me "Hey, accept the invite :0" and it makes me feel a tiny bit stupid. >:
Oh how I agree with you, BLM brother. >:

Shhh..
You don't know what you are asking for..
Soon we'll have
Trade Request
and
Party Invite
showing up on our screen every time someone sends you either ;v
i like it
it's perfect, no need to change
Ok here is the only nitpicking thing I will ever say about this game, until I do it again:
Make the raise icon more noticeable or just straight ask if you want to be upped. It doesn't need to be an icon I click and then confirm when I'm fighting one of the really hard NMs like Goblin.
