Hi! I worked for a professional 3D animation studio that was breaking into games before beginning my own freelance development. If they gave the excuses you are giving for not undertaking revisions such as "3D modeling is hard!" they would be bankrupt within a week and most of the staff would be fired weeks before then.
On even mid-size teams, 3D artists also do not have client meetings. Their producers do that.
