So...a Class Story Epilogue Saga?

Moogle quest does provide the fate of some NPCs but some of the Moogle Quest also serve as Prologues to certain NPCs to explain how they got to where we meet them in either FATEs or Dungeons.

Those quest main aim is mostly to provide lore on these NPCs since they aren't involved in a Storyline Quest chain compared to Class Storyline involved NPCs where their lore is revealed over the course of the class storyline.

So far the Moogle Quest has not aimed at the Fate of Class Story involved NPCs.

Current NPCs involved in Moogle Quest are FATE NPCs, Side Quest NPCs, Dungeon NPCs, and side character NPCs we met in Main Scenario.

One of the moogle mail quests has you speaking with Raya-O and A-Ruhn, who are integral to the WHM job quest.
But yes none of the DoW or DoM class quests are directly involved, though the DoH ones are (CRP and ALC especially with the one involving Jandelaine)

Ya it did but the Moogle Quest story was not about them but about the Mail Moogle himself. They only got involved since the quest provided the lore that those two keep a eye on the Mail Moogle and how he handles his Job.

Still, it lays the groundwork for what we MAY be receiving soon.
I can imagine having a letter to deliver to Oboro from Tsubame, for instance.
One of the small problems with some of the class quests, though, is that though they lack follow-through to an almost absurd degree (very, very few of the class quests have anything to do with the job quests barring the WAR and NIN ones, for example) they also lack a lot of meaningful reason via the moogle mail to contact the old leaders, since a lot of them have their matters dealt with internally between guild members. Unless the letter is actually addressed to you personally, there isn't a lot of incentive for the people involved to send letters, which is a bit of a hurdle.
The Job quests, on the other hand, are a bit of a mixed bag. Most would have some pretense for contact with a third party: SCH and SMN could be research results, WAR, MNK, NIN, and DRG could be missives from home, WHM has technically been done though they have such heavy political ties they fit in with basically everything. Haven't gone through BLM or PLD yet, though. BRD is a little tricky, though, but it could be done.
I guess the class quest pretense could be jobs for the guild, but that seems a little lazy :P
