So...a Class Story Epilogue Saga?

i will love if we meet them after they did decide to become apprentice to new jobs that don't recquire class.

Sadly only way for that to happen is through a Class Epilogue Storyline but it also unlikely they will become Jobs.

Classes are the standard for NPCs and Jobs are more unqiue to a select few people at the start of their Job Story. It mostly is not until the ending of current Job storyline when the Job Trainer starts to train other NPCs to become the specific Jobs due to the Warrior of Light's influence through the Job Storyline making the Player the first outsider to be trained in the Job that was originally tied down to special conditions or traditions in the Job's origin society.

At the fan fest, Yoshi said the class stories would continue in heavensward, during the bit when they announced there wouldn't be a class for the DRK. This was pleasing, as some of the guild stories were quite enjoyable to me.

I think Yoshi-P was talking about Job Storyline in the interview not the class storyline since Job Storyline is the only Storyline that will be continued with the level cap increase due to new skills for each Job.

Class storyline so far has ended each on lvl 30 since that is our character graduation quest and most likely will not be continued unless some kind of Class Epilogue Story is implamented.

I know that but I rather say "may stay" rather than "will stay" to avoid aggressive action by people who believe class system will be removed in 3.0 due to their strong hatred for class system.

I hope not, as I would love to see more of our PUG guildmaster, and GLD guildmaster/npcs, and ARC... and ACN.... mmm. I kinda enjoyed them all... If not, perhaps they'll get a mog mail quest.

I really hope this is the way they go with the level 50-60 job/class quests...With Hamon Holyfist restored to his former glory, it would be a sin not to continue his story. And the Lancer story feels very unfinished to me, almost as if they left something, hm, 'dangling' at the end of it.

Heck, even just some throwaway side-story quests at your old guild that don't advance your class or job any would be nice. A little bit of fun to continue the story and help you get those ten new levels when Heavensward drops.

is it bad I laughed at the end of that

in the case of monk I can't imagine continuing the job quest to be much of an option given what happened during it, not without basically developing it into a new questline. I'd be happy if they just threw that out and put us back with Hamon though because the MNK quests were a complete disappointment after the PGL ones.

I definitely agree. All the Job Questlines I did felt like they were pretty well wrapped up at the end, but most of the Class questlines felt like they were left open for continuation. Plus, I'd much rather join Hamon Holyfist with his various misadventures than work any longer as hired muscle for some smarter-than-thou jerk.

In my opinion, I think most of the class story quests trump the job story quests, with the exception of Scholar. Especially the Pugilist quests, I'd love to see how the old guildmaster is doing.
