If you're in a party, you shouldn't be taking durability loss. How many parties have you been in where there were 0 people with CON/THM r14? Now, if your entire party is wiping often enough that you need to repair and there's no one there that can repair for you, there's something very, very wrong.

read the bold, it isn't a problem now, but down the line it certainly can be.
