People selling runs, why not talking about it ?

There is only one way T12-T13 can be sold, and that's with the buyer contributing. I know this because we have tried before, and it just isn't possible otherwise with current gear.

Do you want a reward for helping an old lady across the street or helping your mom with the dishes? Maybe for fixing your own bed or cleaning a public bathroom you use as well?

Also I'm interested in hearing your theory as to how you believe SE rewarding "the more exp" players (and how the system determines this) with a legit reward would make run selling stop? T8 and T9 though are selling well, as most pugs are utterly unable to handle the mechanics. About 5m for T8 and 9m for T9. The cheapest I saw for T9 was 6m without loot from a FC wanting to gear their members fast but missing a member due to family reasons

I actually do a lot of selling on Sargantanas, before my static started doing sells runs there were definitely Fixed prices inbetween the top FCs that sold at the same. We typically go against the grain and have offered sells for cheaper, bundle sales, and even discounts based on the day ect. We really treat it like a real business and most of the time it is just people buying drops that they want. We sold to people who could easily clear the content with a group and probably already did but they don't want to compete for drops. We have also sold to people who probably have no business doing that content, but again they have a different definition of fun and being more geared is great for them.

Do we think some of our customers are Gil Buyers? Maybe, we tend not to think about it. I can tell you that a lot of our buyers are legitmate crafters and gatherers and most likely make their money legitimately.

People can't stand still in T8 and fuck up mechanics as if nothing happened, so the people that got stuck in T5, would get stuck in T8 aswell. That, or people who just wanna buy loots directly without rolling against other people.

Honestly, every player who used the market boards have gil buyers' gil in their pockets. We can't control or know where it came from. And they generate too much gil flooding our markets.

Charging for runs is rather distasteful, but with the difficulty in putting groups together, I can understand it. However, complaining that somebody else is charging 7M gil or 500K gil rather than your 12M or 5M gil when the real going rate for any of them is 0 gil, that's just beyond ridiculous.

While people are free to charge what they like for runs (and while people continue to charge obscene amounts of money, I'm staying well away from the merc scene), it's all about supply and demand. The prices are only so high because people are willing to pay. Like everything, unless people vote with their wallets nothing is going to change.

I would buy the shit out of T9 runs for convenience sake if I didn't have to fork over a small house worth of gil every time.

Mind telling me why its "dsatasteful". Is crafting items and selling them disatasteful? Is gathering items and selling them disatasteful? Is paying for a service in real life distasteful? Everytime I read this, there is a rather non-compelling argument that is typically very narrow minded and almost "bandwagonish". Opinions are opinions but making general statements like that implies that you are speaking in fact.
