New Race Announced! The Au Ra

I think I will race change to Au Ru female cause they look cute. I like the tails and horns. If I get bored of them I can always change back to miqote since I still have my 2 free fantasias.

It seems very obvious to me that they made petite, "elegant" females and cool, "muscular" males because they figured that is what would be popular. Cool, muscular guys and petite, elegant girls are generally more popular than cool, muscular girls and petite, elegant guys. If there is any biological reason they are so different (and they may well have one), I'd bet they came up with it after they thought up the design.

But you know what? I think it is ok. Honestly, I think the Au Ra will be very popular as they are, so I can't really fault the designers. The males will fill the "tall and masculine but still can pull of the handsome shonen hero look" niche while the females will be a great alternative for people who want something more elegant but don't want to be six feet tall.

Besides, the other races have been great in regards to males and females not being vastly different, so I'll give them a pass for this one.

Also want to note the difference between Mithra and Miqo'te.

I wish they would've made female Roe's a bit more feminine. Nothing wrong with them being large, just seem a bit too masculine. Female Highlanders got the right mix imo.

Each to their own. I'm happy with my roe. :> Can be a sassy lady or a classy lady, depending on mood. ^^

The make or break of this for me is: Will we be able to have vertical oriented horns? If I can be Padjal with a tail, I'm on-board. I'm not for the horns growing out of the front of my face though :\
