I wasn't going to respond to this, since it seems you misread my post somehow. My post had nothing to do with rp, what I thought of it or of those who do, and I don't want folks thinkin' I'm being all judgmental on rpers.

So to clear that up - I actually don't participate in it XIV. Thought about it, and I might give it a try eventually because I've enjoyed it on other games. I like seeing it going on around though, as it gives the world more life. But I honestly don't see what it has to do with what I said or what it has to do with the gender of the person sitting at the screen. It just doesn't matter to me if a guy or girl is playing that miqote chick or that elezen fella.

Having your character fawn over an Elezen is role-playing. A dude playing a female character and acting like a girl, is also considered role-playing. So whether realized it or not, you've role-played before. You don't have to stay in character throughout the entire duration you play the game to be considered "role-playing."

At risk of arguing semantics here, we have different definitions of rp then. To me it is having a thought out character design and playing that character accordingly. When I playfully have my character swoon over an Elezen in subligaria or wandering around in his skivvies, that's because I like it. It's got nothin' to do with my character's desires or wishes as I haven't decided what they are.

So anyway. Still nothin to do with the person at the screen to me. :P

Why do people Seriously care so much why another chooses pixels? Or find something wrong with choosing a girl as a male?
Are you seriously that insecure about what sex you are that you need pixels to tell you? If you seriously have that big of a problem with males playing a female pixel you might need to get some help.

Whether or not your focus is on the butt, the fact is it's still there, and when we look at our character 95% of the time we're watching its backside. Are you telling me you NEVER look at your character while you're playing?

I look at my char all the time cuz i look gewd lol
