We have no ferry NPCs to take us to the city, we cannot walk out of the area to exit the residential area.

While you have some valid points, I don't think this is a good one. Even in the regular residential areas, unless your house happens to be really near the ferry/exit you're not gonna walk there. You're gonna take an Aetherite, and then walk from there. That fact doesn't change when you're in a subdivision.

For most part, the subdivision area feels like an alternate dimension accessible only via teleport. If you don't use the Aetherites, you literally can't enter nor leave.
