I think the problem is that it auto-loots for everyone. However, it would be better if there were a system in place that allows you to see the item and decide from there if you want to try and roll for it. 1v1 or even 1v3 on rolling gives you better odds than 1v7.

Say you decide to go on a run with a pick-up group, there's one other MRD but he's with a couple of his LS members in the group. The loot that you and the other MRD want drops to one of his LS-mates, so naturally they decide to give it to him. The current system gives people a chance to play favorites, which is the problem. Again, yes, the way people abuse the system isn't fair. However, the problem is that the system CAN be abused in that way and it needs to be fixed and implemented in a better way to prevent further abuse.
