I'm disgusted with the bard nerf.

Our monk switch to ninja in turn 10 to push more dps because our drg and me haven't any TP issue with goad.

Using goad on me in the first add phase i dot 2 adds and attack the focus, spam bloodletter.

Try capping accuracy with current i90 pieces.
Damage reduction was awesome, but evasion down is also very useful.

When my auto-attack hits for ~45 and it doesn't even go off every time because I'm casting...I'm not even going to bother with the 3 DPS it's going to add, especially if there's already two melee and an off-tank crowding around the mob's behind.

Meanwhile, my SMN with a Wave Codex (not even Tidal, just plain Wave) auto-attacks for ~75. Take that into a 10 minute fight where you'll get off somewhere over 60 or so instant cast spells, and that's, what, a free poison pot or more?

Today in t10 i had to pop Army's 3 times zzz I think it was mostly because of Selene and my stupid high amount of skillspeed. I really wish they made our skills cost less tp. I'm like worst than a Monk right now.

you guys had the easiest class to play with unlimited mobility and no positional requirements.

i keep seeing people say bard is the easiest class to play. no class is hard to play but i also see a bunch of people go into bard thinking it's so easy and they're always out dps'd by a bard that knows what they're doing. any fight without breaks that's actually a fairly long fight you'll see how annoying being a bard can be if you want to do the highest dps possible. it's no easier than any other class.

If they got rid of the penalty for playing songs and maybe gave us bfb back I think we would be on the right track and not getting too close to top dps. As it stands though. NIN offers far better utility than a bard does (albeit ballad) and is a top dps.

There is 0 reason for bards to suffer that penalty while playing songs. Food for thought

I know right it's ok for nin to be top dps, give everyone in the party a dmg buff and give out TP.

lol, Bard is my main but i play more as blm and Ninja now, Bard is by miles far the easiest of all classes. Have you even played melee or blm?
Anyhow yes super old thread but to the original topic i agree nerf was a bit much and there has even been talk of another nerf (just a rumour at this point)

Not to sound like a ass but you don't even have scoil gear on your bard.
